Global Search is one of the most important tools in HORTUS.
Key characteristics
- Cross-entity (searches all modules)
- Fast entry point to unknown content locations
- Often grouped by entity type
How to use it
- Start with a broad keyword
- Review grouped results
- Open the most relevant entity
- Refine using filters in the target module
When to use it
- You don’t know where content is located
- You want a quick overview of a topic
- You are exploring a new research area
