Recurring interface patterns
HORTUS uses repeated interface structures across modules.
Learning them once improves navigation everywhere.
1. List + filters pattern
Where:
- Projects, Events, Marketplace, Experts
Structure:
- list of items
- filters on side or top
- sorting options
Use:
- refine results
- narrow down large datasets
2. Tabbed detail layout
Where:
- project pages
- resources
- events
- expert profiles
Typical tabs:
- Overview
- Metadata
- Discussions
- Participants
- Documents
Use:
- switch context without leaving the page
- explore structured information
3. Action rail (right-side controls)
Common actions:
- share
- favourite
- follow
- register (events)
- edit / delete (if permitted)
Tip:
- Always check the right side first to see what actions are available
4. Search + refine workflow
Typical flow:
- Global search → broad discovery
- Module filters → precise selection
- Detail page → evaluation
This pattern is used across almost all user journeys.
