Role activation after registration
Important: registration alone does NOT unlock contributor features.
HORTUS uses role-based access control (RBAC).
Why this matters
Many features depend on roles:
- creating resources
- publishing projects
- submitting metadata
- moderating content
Activation process
- Register or sign in
- Send a request to: service-desk@itserr.it
- Specify:
- requested role (e.g. contributor, maintainer)
- intended activities
- Wait for approval and role assignment
After activation
- Log in again
- Verify that creation or moderation buttons are visible
If features are missing:
- check role status before troubleshooting
