Introduction
This technical manual documents the functionalities of the ITSERR – uBIQUITY web platform (WP8), developed within the European project RESILIENCE – Research Infrastructure on Religious Studies. The objective of the platform is to provide an advanced digital environment for the research, comparison, and visualization of texts belonging to different linguistic corpora, with particular reference to Arabic, Greek, and Latin languages.
The documentation presented here represents the official reference for the use and understanding of the user-side functionalities of the platform, including search tools, flows management, annotations (notes), and textual comparison (compare).
Purpose of the Document
The purpose of this document is to describe, in a functional and operational manner, all the characteristics and interactions of the uBIQUITY platform user interface.
The manual serves as a support tool for:
- understanding the navigation and search logic within the system;
- illustrating the methods for managing flows and personal notes;
- providing a coherent overview of the functionalities offered to the researcher.
Technical implementation aspects, APIs, or infrastructure are not addressed, as they remain under the responsibility of the development teams.
Target Users
The manual is intended for the following main target users:
- Researchers: users who use the platform to conduct textual analyses and comparisons.
- Reviewers: users responsible for verifying and commenting on the results obtained.
- WP Leads and Administrators: users with privileged access to configuration and management functionalities.
